Join us for our Summer Bag of Books Sale in the Van Deusen Room (3rd floor of the Central Library) on Saturday, June 6th from 10am - 3:30pm!Fill a grocery-sized bag (we encourage you to bring your own, but we'll have some, too) for just $4 PER BAG, or buy just a few items for $.50 each. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (via Square with a $4 minimum per purchase).
We'll have books from MANY different categories (children's, fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, health, gardening, etc.), and we'll also have DVDs and CDs.
There is a LOT going on downtown that weekend (Art on the Mall, KIA Art Fair, Do-Dah Parade, PRIDE), so please be prepared to park and walk.
If you're a FRIENDS MEMBER, your official presale invitation has been sent out. The Member-only Presale is June 5th from 3 - 5pm, and your member name(s) will be on a list at the door when you check in.
If you aren't already a member of our current fiscal year (which started on April 1, 2026), you can join online at bit.ly/Join-FKPL or in the bookstore.
