🚶 TRAIL TALES
Take a self-guided hike starting at the west trailhead, where a story unfolds along the trail. This week’s featured tale is “The Bumble Bee Queen” by April Pulley Sayre—read as you wander and explore nature at your own pace.
🔧 TINKERS – Drop in during open hours for ever‑changing, hands‑on, self‑led activities. This week's adventures include:

📖 TALES – Enjoy our weekly story read aloud on Mondays at 2 PM by Door County Librarian Beth Lokken.
🎤 TALKS – A specialist brings each weekly theme to life on Thursdays at 2 PM. On June 18, discover the buzzing diversity of Door County’s bees with a special presentation by the Door County Beekeepers Club! This informative program will introduce you to the many species of native bees that call our region home—from tiny metallic sweat bees to fuzzy bumble bees—alongside the familiar non‑native honey bee.
🌼 JOURNEYS WITH JOAN – Continue summer nature exploration with Naturalist Joan Wilkie, Tuesdays at 1 PM. On June 16, Insect Safari: Together we'll find the secrets of insects as they transform from egg to adult. Hand lenses and collecting nets provided. Suitable for all ages.
