Get creative this summer with Kinawa Art Teacher Jenny Cronin! Students entering grades 2nd-4th and 5th-7th are invited to explore their artistic side during these fun and inspiring half-day art camps. Each camp features hands-on projects centered around exciting themes like Upcycled Art—turning everyday materials into amazing creations—and Printmaking, where students will experiment with unique techniques to design their own prints and patterns. Whether your child loves to paint, build, draw, or create, these camps are the perfect place to learn new skills, make new friends, and bring imagination to life!Week 1: July 6-10th - Grades Entering 5th-7th | Theme: Printmaking. Projects will include Linocut Printmaking, Sun Prints, and Lego Printing.
Week 2- July 13-17th - Grades Entering 5th-7th | Theme: Upcycled Art. Projects will include Record Art, Pop Can Metal Tooling, and Paper Mache.
Week 3- July 20-25th - Grades Entering 2nd-4th | Theme: Upcycled Art. Projects will include Fabric Scrap Bowl, Record Art, and Paper Mache.
Week 4- July 27th-31st - Grades Entering 2nd-4th | Theme: Printmaking. Projects will include Found Object Printmaking, Sun Prints, and Lego Printing.
Come dressed for mess and ready to create! Bring a snack and a water bottle. All other supplies included in fee.
When: Sessions will run Monday-Friday of your chosen week.
Times: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Cost: $210 per session for Weeks 2-4; $225 for Week 1 due to additional supply costs
