Welcome to the Holiday Boat Parade Hillsborough!
On December 22, 2024, parking will be available at the Sulphur Springs Pool located at 701 E. Bird St., Tampa, FL 33604. From there, you can easily access the festivities by following the sidewalk along the Hillsborough River at Sulphur Springs Park. Head west towards the 275 bridge, where the scenic pathway will lead you directly to the Sulphur Springs boardwalk. This walkway will take you under the bridge towards the River Tower, creating a picturesque route as you make your way to the gathering spot.
From 6 PM to 8 PM, the festive atmosphere will come alive under the 275 bridge at Sulphur Springs Park, where spectators will gather to greet the holiday boat parade. This location provides a unique vantage point for watching the illuminated paddlers glide beneath the bridge, creating a magical scene with the twinkling lights reflecting off the water. The area under the bridge will be adorned with decorations, enhancing the holiday spirit, and the boardwalk leading to this spot will also be decorated, inviting attendees to stroll and enjoy the vibrant ambiance.
As spectators wait for the arrival of the boats, the sounds of laughter, cheers, and holiday music will fill the air, fostering a sense of community and celebration. The Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Association will be set up in this area, eagerly waiting for the paddlers to arrive.
