Anthony Crawford featuring Savana Lee — Birmingham HomecomingAnthony Crawford returns to Birmingham for a special evening at Workplay, joined by his wife and musical partner Savana Lee.
A veteran songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Crawford is best known for performing more than 300 shows with Neil Young, touring and recording with Young’s bands including the Shocking Pinks, the International Harvesters, and the Electric Band, and appearing on Young’s Grammy-winning album Prairie Wind.
Over the years Crawford has also collaborated with artists including Steve Winwood, Dwight Yoakam, Vince Gill, Rodney Crowell, Nicolette Larson, and Steve Forbert, while his songs have been recorded by artists such as Kenny Rogers, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Sawyer Brown, Billy Burnette, Lee Greenwood, and Lorrie Morgan.
Now based on the Alabama Gulf Coast, Crawford and Savana Lee bring their harmony-rich blend of Americana, folk rock, and songwriter storytelling to the stage for an intimate night of songs and stories from decades on the road.
For Birmingham audiences, it’s a rare chance to see Crawford return to the city where his musical journey began.
We’d love to see some familiar Birmingham faces in the room.
