From London to Brussels, we welcome Izzy Steven aka Izzy Bossy! Curator, club & festival DJ, producer and the visionary founder of Bossy LDN, a label imprint, talent platform, and cultural hub dedicated to creating inclusive spaces and opportunities for young women and non-binary artists in the (stillllllll male dominated) music sphere. From a young age she was involved in the local mas (masquerade) band in her estate’s community centre, helping create costumes and immersing herself in the annual spectacle of Notting Hill Carnival. Fast forward to today, when the list of collabs (from Nia Archives and Protoje, to Apple Music and Alexander McQueen) to her name is simply jaw-dropping. Her recently produced track GTKY for Valiant, received extensive airplay across the world, from BBC 1Xtra to major Jamaican radio networks. In short Izzy Bossy isn’t just a DJ — she’s a community-builder, culture-curator and advocate for change within the music scene.
