Suffragette City x Manchester Fashion Movement Upcycling Workshop

Come join us in the Pink Room at YES for a fun and creative afternoon with designers from Manchester Fashion Movement!
All you need to bring is an old t-shirt or item of clothing that you'd like to give a new lease of life to and we'll help with the rest!
Upcycling is more than a sustainable way to create clothing, it promotes a new way of thinking. It can double the life expectancy of a garment whilst avoiding any further environmental impact, making it the most sustainable thing you can do in the fashion industry today.
Everyone is welcome at the workshop - so gather up your crew and have some fun creating together! The activity is ideally suited to adults and teens but younger children are welcome under adult supervision.
For anyone who prefers to leave these things to the experts, alongside the upcycling workshop you can also scour the rails of some of Manchester's best female-owned conscious brands.
And the YES bar will be open so you can grab some food and drink there too!
Entry is free but we are taking cash or card donations on the door for Suffragette City 2025 charities.
