About this Event
Where we'll be collecting
We'll be collecting from Thursday 9th January to Sunday 12th January 2025 in these postcodes:
PE1, PE2, PE3, PE4, PE5, PE6, PE7, PE8 and PE9
Recycle your Christmas tree this January and help support our care
Our team of friendly, reliable volunteers will collect your real Christmas tree directly from your front door, front garden or driveway and recycle it into wood chippings to be used in local parks or woodlands, or turned into biofuels.
Sue Ryder does not make any money from chipping the collected trees, so your donations help our care teams be there when it matters.
Collection capacity is limited, so please book your Christmas tree collection today.
Last year's Treecycling collection raised enough to fund 4,000 hours of care, thanks to kind supporter donations
Your kind donations allow us to continue providing support for families in the local community.
- £12.50 could help fund a home visit from a Sue Ryder Nurse.
- £25 could help fund one of our specialist nurses.
- £65 could help fund a therapy session for a seriously ill patient.
- £100 could fund four hours of expert care and compassion.
IMPORTANT: Your tree and location
For all areas, we kindly ask that all decorations and stands are removed and that your tree is not in a pot. We are also unable to collect trees taller than 10ft. If you live in a location that is difficult to reach with a large van or pick up, please provide access details when registering your tree and include your what3words location.
If you require three or more Christmas trees for collection, please let us know by phone or email.
