Concerto Dance returns to the Southern Theater for our annual evening of modern and jazz dance! Featuring repertory work by Steve Rooks honoring the 100th anniversary of Martha Graham, an energetic and dynamic work by guest artist Joe Chvala, and two new jazz premieres by Artistic Director Jolene Konkel, including Jamboree, a joyful, high-energy celebration, and the premiere of Sweet Thunder Suite, inspired by the voices of Shakespeare’s women and the stories they were never allowed to tell. Performance Dates:

Approximately 90 min. with a 15 minute intermission
Featuring: Hunter Batterson, Morgen Chang, Malia Craft, Allison Durham, Maddy Harper, Peter Hoffman, Doug Hooker, Sara Karimi, Helena Magalhães, MiKayla Scherping, Kate Sebes, Nate Stevens, Brandyn Tapio, and guest artists Karla Grotting and Heather Klopchin.
