About this Event
Join us for the European premiere of Such Creatures, by award-winning Canadian playwright Judith Thompson. Meet Blandy, a fifteen-year-old in contemporary Toronto, and Sorele, a fifteen-year-old in Auschwitz in 1945 - two young women united by fearlessness, humour, and a shared love of Shakespeare.
Experience semi-staged scenes of two intertwined monologues of astonishing bravery performed by students from UCD’s Dramsoc, followed by an interview and live Q&A with Judith Thompson (joining us remotely). The event is free and open to all — book your place now!
WHEN: 23 January at 5.30–7.30 pm
WHERE: Trapdoor @ UCD
