Join the Subtle Bodies cohort for a special end of year session. We'll review how our individual auras shifted throughout the year, reflect on how we grew in 2025 and as always there will be a new generative writing prompt.
About the Subtle Bodies Workshop Series:
Once a season, we will gather at Alice Austen House to sit for portraits made with the AuraCam6000, a specialized camera system that uses touch sensors to reveal radiant aura fields around the body. The physical readings from someone’s hands produce an image that is entirely unique to each individual.
As a group, we will discuss and interpret the colors present in our portraits, and what meaning they may hold in our current lives. Each workshop session will include time for self-reflective journaling and thoughtful writing prompts based on your latest aura portrait. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own journals through a guided book-making session during our first meeting. This workshop meets quarterly throughout 2025.
Workshop Fee: $30 per workshop / $100 for complete series (includes aura portrait).
Workshop dates: Winter: January 18th, Spring: April 12th, Summer: July 12th, Fall: October 25th (rescheduled from Oct 11th)
