Creativity. Filmmakers who incorporate Afrofuturistic of Afrofuturism, a movement that

uses science fiction and technology to explore the Black experience.


Panelists:

Sci-fi and fantasy authors from Nigeria and the US.

Game developers creating Afrofuturistic games.

Filmmakers who incorporate Afrofuturistic themes into their work.

12:00 - 13:00: Fashion Forward - A Trendsetter's Dialogue

Focus: This panel brings together leading fashion designers, stylists, and trend

forecasters from both cities. They will discuss current trends, emerging aesthetics, and

how Lagos and Atlanta can influence each other's fashion landscapes.


Discussion points:

● Signature styles and aesthetics of Lagos and Atlanta fashion.

● Identifying upcoming trends and potential for cross-pollination.

● Collaborative design projects and fashion shows between the two cities.

lessons; and the importance of an establishment for a domestic market for Afrobeats.

system. The proposed partnership with the government for a secondary school focused

presentation by Omis Bryan and Mika Simone from Georgetown University Business

School D.C on their streaming solution.

Creative Tech Workforce


Focus: Discuss ways to equip aspiring creatives with the technical skills needed for the

creative tech industry.
