Lubbock ISD Mandatory Substitute Orientation! 🍎This orientation is a required step to begin working within the district. We will cover essential training, payroll procedures, and safety protocols to ensure you are ready for your first day in the classroom.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: This event is BY INVITATION ONLY. You must be officially signed up through the registration link sent to your invitation email to attend.
📍 Where: Lubbock ISD-Central Office 🕒 When: 11:00am
📌 What We’ll Cover:
Classroom Management: Tools for success in the classroom.
Safety & Security: Essential campus emergency protocols.
Payroll & Time-Clock: Training on how to clock in/out and get paid.
SMC Training: How to use the Substitute Management Center to find and accept jobs.
💼 What to Bring:
To finalize your employment, please bring the following documents:
Valid Driver’s License & Social Security Card.
Education Records: High school diploma (or equivalent) OR a transcript with the highest level completed.
✅ Orientation Requirements:
Fingerprinting: You must have completed and cleared your fingerprinting and background check prior to attending.
Registration: You must be signed up through the link sent in your invitation email.
Attendance: You cannot begin accepting assignments until this session is completed in full.
Late arrivals will be asked to reschedule for a later date.
