Progressive House fans, this one's for you! Friday May 15th, OTTAWA PROG VIBES celebrates its 7th anniversary inside ANNX (221 Rideau St. Level 2) with music by co-founders ALAIN M & STEVE FINNEY.

A message from the hosts (Ottawa Prog Vibes):
It was 7 years ago that we set out to blow on the embers of a sound that seemed to be running out of steam, a sound that had known a heyday in the late 90’s and early 2000’s and was still heard in some remote parts of the world but almost never here at home.
At first with a weekly little podcast. Then with small little gigs. And month after month, it just kept going. Through pandemic lockdowns, sit-down parties and distancing rules. In various venues.
That sound is progressive house. We call it prog, and we are Ottawa Prog Vibes.
As years went on, we became a crew of three, built up broadcast partnerships, started producing our own tracks, and got to play alongside some amazing artists - local, national and international. Always repping our city - because all scenes are local and we are all from somewhere - and we are proudly of Ottawa.
We are now two radio shows broadcast in five countries; dozens of shows under our belts with an appetite for more. Always focused on quality, not quantity. And at every show, we see new faces and new smiles who revel in the discovery or rediscovery of this sound.
On May 15th we are having an anniversary celebration. What will you feel? To answer that, we repeat the words of our good friends at Super Progressive because they are too good to not share:
