Substance & Misuse

This is a half day course and will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams.

In this course you will:

• Increase your knowledge of drug types and symptoms ranging from cannabis through to nitrous oxide.
• Increase your knowledge of child criminal exploitation and how “laid on” drugs such as cannabis and vapes are signs and symptoms of the beginnings of exploitation.
• Learn about recording and incident reporting to Police and Children’s Social Care.
• Understand the correct referral mechanisms including the National Referral Mechanism for exploitation and trafficking.
