The Subs and Spies Event will be held at the historic Ponte Vedra Inn & Club on Saturday, July 4th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with the display to be setup at noon of that day.The host only wants WW2-era vehicles for this event so as to follow in line with the famous German Intelligence Plan, Operation Pastorius, that was intended to instigate and support acts of sabotage inside the United States during WW2.
The area to be used for the display is limited to 8 WW2-era vehicles. The host has requested the following:
-- (2) Jeeps
-- A Half-track
-- A Dodge WC
-- (2) Motorcycles
-- A Bomb Truck
-- A U.S. Navy support vehicle, such as an aircraft tractor or airfield vehicle.
This event is sponsored by Ponte Vedra Inn & Club so we must follow their request. They will be providing the participants lunch and refreshments during the afternoon.
