Subomi’s Children is delighted to announce our Youth Open Mic, a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and community taking place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Beczak Environmental Education Center, located at 35 Alexander Street, Yonkers, NY 10701.

This special event is designed to give young people a welcoming stage to express themselves through poetry, music, storytelling, dance, spoken word, and other creative performances. Our mission has always been to enrich lives and promote culture, and this Open Mic is a joyful extension of that purpose—an opportunity for youth to share their voices, build confidence, and connect with others in a supportive environment.

Throughout the afternoon, participants and guests will enjoy a lively mix of performances, community engagement, and cultural appreciation. Whether a young person is stepping on stage for the first time or already exploring their artistic path, this event offers a safe
