Sublime and Surreal Short Stories with Naomi Booth and Clare Fisher
We are very lucky to host Clare Fisher and Naomi Booth at Juno Books talking about their new short story collections, The Moon is Trending and Animals at Night.
Clare Fisher is a fiction writer and creative writing lecturer. Their debut novel, All the Good Things (Viking, Penguin, 2017) won a Betty Trask award and was described by the Guardian as ‘a sparky and unsettling debut.’ Clare's short story collection, How the Light Gets In (Influx Press, 2018) was longlisted for the Edgehill Short Story prize and the International Dylan Thomas prize. Their most recent short story collection, The Moon is Trending has just been published by Salt.
Naomi Booth is also writer and academic. Her fiction explores, amongst other things, weird landscapes, concentric objects, compulsive fainting, pregnancy, skin, crocuses, environmental contamination Naomi's short story collection Animals at Night has recently been shortlisted for the Edgehill Prize and her other works, Sealed, The Lost Art of Sinking and Exit Management have been widely acclaimed and won many awards.
Both authors' books will be available at the event for signing
