Jim Carroll, along with brothers Jim Rubert and Vince Rubert have been active in the local music scene as well as working on numerous recording sessions for over 40 years. Between them, they have performed in all genres of music including pop, big band, jazz, rock, bluegrass, country and blues. With this diversity of musical influences their creativity and professionalism blend together to deliver honest, raw, feel-good music.Jim Carroll has been a solo acoustic guitarist for the last two decades, Jim Rubert is a multi-instrumentalist and is involved with one of Rochester's premier Pary bands, while Vince has been working with two very successful
"classic" rock bands in the Rochester area and the Southern Tier.
Now, with Sub-Bourbon Trio the goal is to play this contemporary Americana music to make people feel good and sing along!
