Get creative and add a unique touch to your favorite bag with a variety of charms to choose from. Join us Saturday, August 16th for a hands-on, happy hour-style workshop hosted by MAS Creatives x Son of a Sailor—where you’ll craft your very own custom bag charm cluster using curated beads, metal hardware, leather, and fabric.
This is not your average DIY night—this is your back-to-work, back-to-school, back-to-YOU creative refresh to help you step into a new season with something personal and beautifully handmade.
WHAT YOU’LL MAKE:
You’ll create a 6-piece custom charm cluster, designed to clip onto your favorite tote, backpack, or keys—using real tools, gorgeous materials, and your own creative touch.
You’ll work with beading tools and jump rings to assemble your charms and attach them to a gold paperclip chain, which will be one of six elements that hang from your brass carabiner.
Each brass carribeaner bag charm will include:
- Beaded Element: Hand-bead on beading wire with a mix of vibrant glass and accent beads. You’ll crimp and finish the strand yourself with expert guidance.
- Charm Chain: Add your favorite trinket charms using jump rings onto a gold paperclip chain. You’ll choose from curated metal charms and use real tools to build your design.
- Beaded Leather Strand: Hand-bead a strand of leather and a mix of vibrant glass and accent beads.
- Fabric Tassel Element: Choose from patterned or raw-edge fabric strips to make a tassel-style accent. Add a bead to give it movement and texture.
- Pom-Pom Accent: Add a touch of playful color with a pom-pom.
- Custom Embossed Leather Tag: An exclusive MAS x SOS collab tag, designed just for this event.
All six components will hang together from your brass carabiner clip to form your unique, personalized bag charm.
