Culthe Collectiv has the great honor and pleasure to present to you US doom heavy weight STYGIAN BOUGH (Bell Witch/Aerial Ruin), accompanied by UK’s 40 WATT SUN (solo), coming to Sputnikhalle Münster on 01/02/2026 !
STYGIAN BOUGH, named in reference to the book “The Golden Bough” (James Frazer) and the Law of Contagious Magic described therein, is the collaboration between Bell Witch (Dylan Desmond, Jesse Shreibman) and Aerial Ruin (Erik Moggridge) – that enlivens its unbodied presence resembling both projects as a conduit. The partnership at the center is over a decade in the making, growing from Moggridge’s recurring contributions to the Bell Witch catalog.
STYGIAN BOUGH release their new full-length “VOLUME II” this fall, heading to tour Europe in Winter 2026. This concert in Münster on February 1st is the ONLY SHOW IN NRW !
40 WATT SUN (Patrick Walker) has developed his very own musical style, amalgamating doom, alternative rock, and singer-songwriter. Walker’s latest album “Little Weight” (2024) was created in a simplified process, esteeming “the first emotions that I first wanted to express and which inspired me to sit down to write”. The result is “a collection of vignettes that are steeped in poetic beauty, longing, love, and melancholy nostalgia” (Becky Laverty) – brought to you live in an intimate solo performance.
