A fantastic weekend hiking trip on the Dorset Coast and the first weekend trip of 2025! We meet in Bridport for 1pm - known as West Bay this beautiful coastal harbour is famous for the series 'Broadchurch' with the magnificent steep cliffs next to it! We do a lovely walk for approx 3hrs (6 miles) before heading to Weymouth where we stay overnight by the seafront. On Sunday we then do the circular hike around Portland Bill, the stunning island just off Weymouth. This hike is approx. 5.5hrs (10 miles) in total and takes in even more beautiful scenery... and always nice to be by the coast!
