The Foundation Program (FP) is a unique structured study program that enables us to gain deeper understanding and experience of Buddhist teachings.

This program is perfect to help us deepen our understanding and experience of Buddha's teachings- specifically to the sutra teachings including the inital, middling and great scope of lamrim (stages of the path to enlightenment)

It is designed to help us develop a strong foundation in Buddhism through regular teachings, meditation, systematic study and group discussion, enabling us to progress on our spiritual path. FP offers deep support for your spiritual life. Its special quality is that we can gain authentic experience without abandoning our modern lifestyle.

Led by our experienced teacher, we will explore the profound topic of emptiness and learn how to apply this wisdom in our daily life.

What book are we studying on FP?

The book that we will be studying on this new term will be part 2 of The New Heart of Wisdom. This book reveals the direct and hidden meanings of Buddha's Perfection of Wisdom Sutras in a way that we can apply them to our modern life. It includes the entire sutra teachings of the initial, middling and great scope of the lamrim (stages of the path to enlightenment).

The Foundation Programme class is held on Sunday afternoons from 2.30-4.30 pm

Fees: The cost of enrolment is RM80 per calendar month throughout the year. This enrolment fee includes unlimited attendance to FP classes, all weekly general programme classes, weekend half-day and full-day courses, retreats.

All course fees are used to help in the daily running of the centre run and spread Buddha’s precious teachings.
