ASCENSION - A shibari performance on body vs spirit
In this live shibari performance, the rope becomes more than a tool—it transforms into a conduit for the expression of spirit. The model, standing as a vessel of strength, allows himself to be bound, yet in the containment of flesh, a paradox unfolds. The rope, wound carefully around limbs and torso, symbolizes the higher power that dwells within the human form—an energy that is vast, transcendent, and beyond simple physicality.
The audience witnesses not just a physical act of restraint, but a spiritual one—a reminder that the higher self cannot be contained, only witnessed, captured through a moment of time by your illustrations.

All levels of drawing experience are welcome. This is not a class. A facilitator will be there to guide you if needed.
This is an untutored session ideal for beginners through to experienced artists, all are welcome. The ticket price includes FREE flow of non-alcoholic drinks and snacks (welcome BYOB).

Our studio is in the same row as Pos Malaysia and 7-11, three houses away in the middle. The exterior looks like a white mansion. Don't worry about parking, we've reserved it for you.
