👨⚕️ About Dr. Riccardo Di Gianfilippo
Dr. Di Gianfilippo is a board-certified periodontist and diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He earned his Master of Science in Periodontics from the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
He has conducted extensive research in peri-implant bone regeneration and periodontal plastic surgery, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He also serves as a reviewer for several international journals and is recognized by Expertscape as a top 1% global contributor in gingival recession research 🌍🏆
His honors include the American Academy of Periodontology’s Orban Award, multiple clinical case awards from the Michigan Periodontal Association, the University of Michigan Teaching Fellowship, the Jeffrey Johnston Award, and the Martignoni Award for clinical and academic excellence.
