Did you know that visiting a college is termed “demonstrated interest” by schools and is one of the admissions criteria used to determine an applicant’s acceptance? In fact, “demonstrated interest” is one piece of the admissions puzzle that can give a student up to a 40% chance of being admitted over other applicants.

The college admissions process is a tricky one to navigate. Give yourself the best opportunity to succeed by joining us on this one-day trip to Philadelphia - City of Brotherly Love

In addition to this incredible experience, A-1 Tours offers an EXCLUSIVE partnership with University Seekers. University Seekers is a college preparatory service led by a local college admissions expert. With their guidance, they market your personal profile to your dream schools. They stay in touch with the admissions departments to ensure your application is highlighted, giving you a leg up on the competition.

This day trip will give you the opportunity to visit TWO Campuses in ONE day. We will start with Temple University as we arrive, followed by lunch to keep your energy up! After lunch, we’ll visit Drexel University. Both visits will include an overview of the information session, campus walk as well as Q&A.

And we are not done…
After the campus tour we will be joined by a Philadelphia tour guide who will give a brief overview of the city, tell you the ins and outs, and perhaps a secret or two about the city that may become your new home. We will also embark on a tour exploring some of Philly’s amazing street and mosaic arts

Philly Street Art & The Magic Garden’s
Philadelphia holds some of the most outstanding mural collections in the nation. It started in the mid-1980s as an anti-graffiti program and now has more than 4000 works of community-based public art. During the tour, guests will take a walk on the Mural Mile running north and south of Market Street to explore some of these masterpieces.

Following the Mural Mile, the group will continue with a visit to Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens.
Philadelphia's Magic Gardens is a non-profit organization offering visitors an immersive experience in a mixed-media art environment covered with mosaics. The creator, Isaiah Zagar, used handmade tiles, bottles, bicycle wheels, mirrors, and international folk art to chronicle his life and experiences. The space is made up of two indoor galleries and a bi-level outdoor sculpture garden. The afternoon will give students a fun afternoon out and about with friends and a myriad of cool selfie opportunities.

After the tour, you will sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride back home!
