About this Event
Students will explore the work done by sea turtle researchers! They will learn about the lives of sea turtles, learn what changes can be made in their everyday lives to assist in conservation efforts, and participate in a mock hands-on scientific sea turtle nest inventory activity!
Please note:
- This program is geared towards students in grade 2. It is requested that participants be in this age group.
- A parent/guardian must remain with student at all times. The program will last approximately one hour.
- Because this program is being held outdoors, students should be appropriately dressed and prepared for weather/conditions.
A wait list is open if the program fills to capacity. If space does become available, an automatic email will be generated to anyone on wait list (in order of addition to wait list); a short window to register will be available before contacting the next person on wait list.
If you register your student(s) but are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation so others may register.
***We will meet by the volleyball court.
This project was funded in part by a grant awarded from the Sea Turtle Grants Program. The Sea Turtle Grants Program is funded from proceeds from the sale of the Florida Sea Turtle License Plate. Learn more at .
