Join us for an interactive and inspiring event designed to open the door to rewarding rural and regional health careers. Whether you’re a secondary school student curious about studying health, or a tertiary student ready to take the next step in your career journey. This event is for you! Secondary school students:
Are you interested in a health career but unsure which tertiary course to choose? Curious to hear from rural and regional students like you who are now studying health?
This session will connect high schoolers with University students. RWAV’s Rural Ambassadors, university students from regional Victoria, will share their personal stories — both the challenges and successes—and tell you about the support available as you begin your own journey!
University students (all health-related disciplines):
Hear firsthand from health professionals, recent graduates, and rural health advocates about what it’s really like to live and work in rural and regional communities. Meet health organisations and industry partners. Learn about pursuing a career in rural and regional Victoria and what supports, such as government funded grants would be available to you as you begin your career.
Free food and drinks are provided. Parents and guardians are welcome!
Get access to exclusive resources including RWAV grants, programs, and career pathway information.
