Canned Pineapple Join Independent Venue Week at The Apothecary TapBrighton’s Canned Pineapple headline The Apothecary Tap for Independent Venue Week 2026, the UK’s annual celebration of grassroots music and the venues that champion it.
Fresh from the release of their acclaimed 2025 EP Big Break, the scuzz-pop five-piece — Seán Drury, Oakley Gardiner, Gabe Rice, Sam Cullen, and Charlie Pringle — bring their high-energy, festival-honed live show to a local stage.
They’re joined by electro-punk/alt-rock duo WREX, known for their electrifying blend of punk, nu-metal, pop, and trance, and for touring extensively across the UK following support slots with Millie Manders & The Shutup, The Hunna, Hacktivist, and more.
Also performing are Oxford instrumental post-rock trio Ghosts in the Photographs, whose cinematic, dynamic soundscapes blend delicate passages with powerful crescendos, enriched by spoken-word samples and lush arrangements.
