About this Event
We believe children and young people aged 11-25* should be happy, healthy, safe , included and empowered to enable them to develop and strive to be the best they can be. This is something we hope you are passionate about too.
These aspects can sometimes be complex to achieve, especially when working alone. However, we believe they can be achieved if we can bring together the right people to agree on the main drivers of the challenges and develop a collective response. The best evidence suggests this collective response needs to come from across the whole community including health services and education, charities, community groups, young people and businesses, government and other major leaders.
We are working with Active Gloucestershire, using a well-developed collective impact approach, to find ways to tackle the most complex of problems. The process begins with sharing our respective understanding of the complexity of the challenge; allow the community to define it and identify the way they can become part of the solution.
