W dniach 10–12 kwietnia w krakowskim Pałacu Potockich odbędzie się wydarzenie Strony Conrada: Równość. W programie rozmowy z Emmą Rävås, Marie Aubert, Moniką Steinholm, Rakel Helmsdal i Selją Ahavą.
👉 Przed nami nordyckie opowieści o równości i różnorodności, które będą splatać się z uniwersalnymi pytaniami o to, kim jesteśmy i jak możemy znaleźć swoje miejsce w świecie. Na miłośników literatury czeka bogaty i różnorodny program ukazujący perspektywy szwedzką, norweską, fińską oraz farerską.

📚 Can literaturę bring us closer to building a more empathetic and diverse world?
👉 As we await the 18th edition of the Conrad Festival, we invite you to a series of unique literary events featuring authors from Nordic countries. On April 10–12, the Potocki Palace in Kraków will host Conrad’s Pages: Equality. The program includes conversations with Emma Rävås, Marie Aubert, Monika Steinholm, Rakel Helmsdal, and Selja Ahava.
👉 Ahead of us are Nordic stories about equality and diversity, intertwined with universal questions about who we are and how we can find our place in the world. Literature lovers can look forward to a rich and diverse program presenting Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and Faroese perspectives.
💬 We will ask our guests about creative practices that can shape the way we think about community and personal identity. Meetings, workshops, and discussions will be an opportunity to explore Nordic literature more closely, as well as to reflect on how not to forget about equality, especially in the context of the queer community – says Paulina Frankiewicz, Program Director of the Conrad Festival.

👉 Admission to all events is free. Seating is limited and entry is on a first-come, first-served basis. During the event, books will be available for purchase at the Karakter Bookstore stand, selected through an open call among entities participating in the KMLU Book Fund.
🤝 The event is organized by the Krakow Festival Office and the Tygodnik Powszechny Foundation in cooperation with the Royal Norwegian Embassy, the Royal Danish Embassy, the Embassy of Sweden, the Embassy of Finland, and the Embassy of Iceland, and is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Royal Norwegian Embassy.
