Every Saturday morning dads come together for their young children (0-3) to explore, socialize, and learn from uninterrupted play. A StrongStart Facilitator™ is on hand to help support confidence, mental development, and emotional learning. Free coffee, and the Pico Farmer’s Market is just outside! Provided FREE by Early Engagement & SMMUSD.

DadTime is provided free from Early Engagement and the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District CDS.

By registering for DadTime™, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Program Overview

DadTime™ is a free community play group for children ages 0-3 and their caregivers, featuring unstructured play and facilitated discussion at Virginia Avenue Park.

2. Parental Supervision

You are responsible for supervising your child at all times. Our facilitators provide guidance and create a safe environment, but do not provide childcare services.

3. Assumption of Risk

You understand that participation involves normal risks associated with children's play activities, including minor bumps, falls, and interactions with other children. You voluntarily choose to participate with this understanding.

4. Health & Safety

Please keep your child home if they have fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other clearly contagious symptoms. You remain responsible for your child's care and supervision throughout the session.

5. Photo & Video Consent

DadTime™ sessions may be photographed or recorded for promotional and educational purposes. By attending, you consent to photography unless you opt out by emailing [email protected] before your session or notifying a facilitator onsite. Once opted out, your preference remains in effect unless you change it.

6. Respectful Participation

All participants are expected to treat others and the facility with respect. Early Engagement reserves the right to ask participants to leave if behavior becomes disruptive or unsafe.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take reasonable care to provide a safe environment, Early Engagement and its partners are not liable for minor injuries that may occur during normal play activities.

8. Program Changes

We may need to cancel or reschedule sessions due to facility issues or other circumstances. We'll notify registered participants promptly of any changes.
