About this Event
Our Stroll and Roll is back for April, and we’re heading to the lovely green spaces of Lyme Valley Park!
This is a relaxed, monthly social group designed to provide a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community to connect, share experiences, and enjoy the benefits of being outdoors. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, have a quiet wander, or just enjoy the fresh air after our winter break, everyone is welcome.
The "No One Left Behind" Rule: We move at the pace of the group. We aim to stay together, but we know everyone has their own natural speed. Faster walkers will periodically wait for others to rejoin so that no one is left behind. It’s all about the community connection, not the distance!
What to bring:
- Four-legged friends: Well-behaved pets are very welcome! 🐾
- Cameras: The park is beautiful this time of year—feel free to bring your gear for some nature photography. 📸
- Comfortable gear: Wear shoes you’re happy walking in and check the forecast for that unpredictable April weather!

Lyme Valley Park features paved paths suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and prams. We aim to make our outdoor socials as accessible as possible. Project 93 (formerly Staffordshire Buddies) is a charity dedicated to the mental wellbeing and community support of LGBTQ+ people and those affected by HIV in Staffordshire. We focus on fostering a sense of belonging and helping our community thrive through connection, advocacy, and peer support.
