Violin virtuoso, Carolyn Dutton will join B.G. McPike & Solly Burton at the 12 Points Public Market- with special appearance by vocal artist Betsy Baer - for an evening of swinging blues, hot jazz, and Americana - and sing alongs. Bring an appetite for great music, food, & drink!
This is sort of a Haute Club reunion meets Betsy and The Bears!
Carolyn Dutton comes from Nashville, IN, where she returned to the Hoosier state after more than three decades in New York City working with people such as Meryl Streep, Dan Hicks, John Sebastian, etc. Carolyn was the stage violinist in the Tony Award-winning cast of The Grapes of Wrath on Broadway, and has performed with B.G. McPike & The Haute Club at Terre Haute’s Blues at The Crossroads Festival - and this instrumental trio has been a regular feature at St. Paddy’s events in Terre Haute for 15 years.
Carolyn joins me and 4-time National Champion mandolinist Solly Burton, and Vocal artist Betsy Baer will join in for a few tunes in the first set!
