Part 2 of our Car Show double header includes Strike the Match!“Strike the Match” is a Rochester-based rock teenage rock band that delivers a tight mix of ’90s grunge, ’80s and classic rock, and emo. Over the past year, they’ve been playing gigs around the city, building real stage experience and a growing local following. The group was assembled by Elvio Fernandes, whose guidance has helped sharpen their sound and live presence. With talent, edge, and momentum on their side, they’re proving that rock is very much alive—and getting younger.
