About this Event
We are delighted to be hosting mindfullness trainer, Sarah Gear, as she provides a wonderful Stress Management Session held in Johnston Carmichael LLP's Aberdeen Office.
This in-person session will introduce the science and the wellbeing impact of stress management and create a calm, safe space for participants to investigate the management of stress and gain an understanding of stress reactions and responses in order to support work/life balance and enhance wellbeing, enjoyment and fulfilment. All partcipants will recieve a printed copy of the stress management workbook prepared for the session.
Sarah will guide participants to
- Understand what stress is and to investigate the various stress responses, including our windows of tolerance and circles of control.
- Discuss our own stressors, together with the solutions to managing stress and the actions that we can take to support wellbeing.
- Work out what’s important to us, connect back to our why and use this vision to get clear on what works for us and what doesn’t.
Participants will leave the session with a clear idea of their own stress management toolkits, a reminder and appreciation of their own resilience and a clear plan of action on how to support themselves with daily habits of mindset and resilience.
The event will begin at 5:30pm in Johnston Carmichael's Aberdeen office and will run until 7:00pm. Smoothies will also be provided to all participants.
This event is for IWIRC Scotland members and non-members. It is free to attend for members and £15 (+VAT) for non-members.
