Stress Management 101 for Architects and Designers

Join this fantastic interactive workshop from AIACV's Sustaining Partner - The Healthy Architect and founder/presenter Morgan Chawaga! It has been adapted specifically for Emerging Professionals.

• How to incorporate maintenance strategies.
• Physical implications of workplace stressors.
• How and why managing workplace stressors makes you a better architect, who ultimately creates better architecture.

To bring this to all of our members and our neighboring AIA chapters, this program will be provided virtually as well as in person at Lionakis in midtown Sacramento. Zoom login info will be provided separately.

About The Healthy Architect's Founder and our presenter for this event:

Meet Morgan. A licensed architect, ivy league graduate, certified meditation teacher, and mother of two fierce little girls: Lily and Violet.

Morgan is a former people pleaser with an type-A personality who climbed the corporate ladder as quickly as possible. Once becoming a mother, she hit a CMU wall, realizing that it wasn’t possible to successfully be both a mother and an architect without prioritizing her health.

When she started prioritizing her health, learning how to set boundaries and create balance, both her professional and personal career began to flourish. She was able to negotiate a higher salary, longer maternity leave, and step into a director role, all while raising a family and having hobbies.

Fast forward to today, Morgan wants to share the message with the A.E.C. community. And this is how The Healthy Architect, LLC was born.
