About Football for the World:
Football for the World works to make the game more accessible, inclusive, and safe for all by addressing the biggest barriers to participation. Through its gear collection and distribution network, the organization extends the life cycle of new and gently used boots, balls, and equipment—helping reduce costs and ensuring players can safely take the field. Recognizing that nearly 70% of low-income communities in the U.S. lack access to green space, Football for the World also leads community-driven projects that create and improve safe places to play, including mini-pitches and shared recreational spaces. At its core, the organization is committed to equality and inclusivity, actively working to break down barriers like financial constraints, discrimination, and cultural limitations by building leagues, hosting tournaments and pickup games, supporting after-school programs, and expanding access to coaching and training opportunities for underserved communities.
