Street Salsa Series: Move, Flow, and Connect!
Saturdays @ 4:30pm-6pm (April 26 - June 7; no class May 24)
Salsa is more than just steps—it’s about feeling the music and letting it move you. In Street Salsa, we keep it natural, fun, and full of rhythm, just like in Latin America! Over these six classes, you’ll learn to dance both solo and with a partner, exploring simple footwork, playful turns, and how to flow effortlessly to the beat. No need to count—just listen, feel, and dance!
No partner? No problem! We’ll switch partners so everyone gets to dance and connect. Just bring your energy, and let’s have fun on the dance floor!
Notes:
- Joining the series after it has begun is possible with the same price
- No Class May 24 (Memorial Day Weekend)
- Final class on June 7 includes a mini-social!

About the Instructor: Nathalye Alvarez
Nathalye Alvarez is passionate about dancing and brings fifteen years of experience with Latin rhythms. She has been teacher at Community Fitness for around 10 years teaching various classes including Urban Latin Dance, Ruby and Luna Dance. A native Colombian, Nathalye is motivated by the idea that dance is an art form and a great way to enjoy life. Teaching street salsa in the Seattle area for many years, she has focused on the role salsa plays in the lives of Latin American towns. Nathalye’s dance classes focus on fun, energy, and rhythm, with a little more upper body work than you might find in other classes. Prepare to lose yourself in the fun, fluid experience that defines her unique style.
