Join El-Funoun's Samer Karaja and the PYM for Street Dabke! Open to all, come learn a vital piece of Palestinian tradition with us!

Samer Karaja, member of the historic El-Funoun Palestinian Dance Troupe, is in NYC for a limited time for two Street Dabke events in collaboration with the Palestinian Youth Movement. Established in 1979, El-Funoun is a volunteer-based cultural institution dedicated to preserving and reviving critical aspects of the Palestinian cultural tradition, such as the Palestinian dance Dabke.

Join Samer and the PYM in the North Lawn of Astoria Park, on June 12th from 6-8pm to learn and dance dabke with us! This event is open to all people of all skill levels.

This the second Street Dabke workshop of a two session event. Our first workshop will be June 6th 6-8pm at Cherry Hill, Central Park. Visit our page to reserve tickets for the first session as well!
