About this Event
This walking tour includes mini-tours of 4 key Park Slope neighborhood hubs with dynamic and evolving creative activity. The Puffin Foundation- who sponsors the event- recently opened an art gallery in the community. The walk is facilitated by collage artist Rich Garr, who has artwork in the current show "Democracy Jenga". Other featured spots on the route include the Old Stone House, Interference Archive & Open Source Gallery. They all have their own unique stories, and hosts will be at each place to offer the latest glimpse into their ecosystems. Each is a small organization that has forged a powerful- and global- creative presence in the heart of brownstone Brooklyn. Surprises along the way- like music, drinks & snacks- will likley join the "street art" extravaganza.
