📍 Art Gallery of Grande Prairie
💥 Ages 14+ | All materials provided | Free
💥 Limited Space – Call 780-532-8111 to register.
Kick off Alberta Culture Days and step into the world of street art in this hands-on mixed media workshop with artists Aurel Tchoumo Tsafack and Garry Bradley.
You’ll experiment with bold techniques like stencilling, collage, scraping, dripping, and the creative use of non-traditional materials. In this workshop, you will draw inspiration from themes often found in street art, such as identity, activism, community, pop culture, and personal storytelling. You’ll learn to layer textures, balance compositions, and build visual impact with colour and space.
Over the afternoon, you’ll create 1–2 original artworks to take home and help craft a collaborative group piece that captures the energy of the day. This is a workshop about self-expression, experimentation, and creative risk-taking perfect for young artists ready to explore their unique visual voice.
✨ No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and we’ll provide the rest!
💥 To Register for this Event - Please Call the Gallery at 780-532-8111 - Limit Space is Available
