About this Event
Klasey Consulting is partnering with Lincoln Families to bring this training "Strategies to talk with youth about the dangers of the internet and social media" to Alameda, Solano, Mendocino, Lake, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Tuolumne and Calaveras providers. This one-day training explores the intersection of CSEC and technology. With the Internet opening the door for CSEC recruitment, it is crucial for providers to engage youth in ongoing conversations about technology. The training will highlight the risks associated with cell phones, social media, cyberbullying, sexting, and online gaming. Participants will learn safety strategies tailored to each of these areas and gain practical conversation starters to use when discussing technology with youth.
