About this Event
This free four-week workshop is avaliable to anyone who has a GP practice in Eden or in Keswick and Solway.
The course aims to:
- Develop participant understanding of how our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and behaviours impact our wellbeing.
- Explore problems, barriers and solutions to improving our wellbeing.
- Equip participants with self help tools and strategies for achieving improved wellbeing such as: goal setting, utilising the stages of change, how to practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques, ways to break out of unhelpful thought cycles… and more.
It is advised that you attend all 4 sessions to get the most out of the course. However, should you need to miss one session please just let us know. The course will be facilitated by our Living Well Coaches. We look forward to meeting you!
One ticket covers all four sessions.
Sessions dates are: 18th February, 25th February, 4th March and 11th March
Each session runs from 6-8pm

Enrolling on this course means you are giving your consent to access your GP records to register you for our course on our service’s digital NHS record system.
The data you provide to the Wellbeing Service will be stored securely and will be used for the purposes of administering your attendance on this course and in accordance with the NHS data protection policy, which is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
Please note, our courses are open only to patients in a GP practice in either Keswick and Solway or Eden Integrated Care Communities/Primary Care Networks.

PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING
Please note that our courses are not a treatment for psychological health difficulties or addiction. We do explore self-help tools, including mindfulness, which are proven to be beneficial for psychological health in the right circumstances. If you have recently received or are currently receiving treatment or Medic*tion from a psychiatrist, psychotherapist or counsellor for an ongoing psychological health difficulty, we strongly advise that you consider carefully whether this is the right time for you to take part in this course. You might want to postpone participation in the course until a later date.
