Being involved in the administration of a not-for-profit organisation can be chaotic. It’s easy to get sucked into day-to-day operations, without ever finding time to plan for the future. However, strategic planning is critical to success.
A good strategic plan is like a roadmap that outlines where an organisation is heading, where it wants to be and the impact it wants to make. The plan should clearly communicate the organisation’s goals to the committee, members and external stakeholders such as grant providers.
Often, volunteers find it challenging working out where to start in preparing a strategic plan.
Join us for a free workshop, to be delivered in partnership between Noosa Council and CPR Group, during which we will guide you through the planning process. You will receive an easy-to-use strategic plan template, as well as the necessary guidance to help you make the plan your own.
