Stranger Encounters presents: Pearl's Hill Past & Present Walk with Terence

A special walk put together by Terence from @groundupstories. This session is most suitable for those who are not familiar with PHT and would like to experience a guided walk through the space.

Time travel with Terence and go behind the scenes on a guided walk through the hallways and atriums of Pearl's Hill Terrace. We will uncover the history of the building, and facts you may not have known about this humble hill standing just beside the Singapore river.

We will also meet a group of resident small-business owners to learn about their stories and why they decided to call PHT home. Step into this tour to interact with PHT neighbors, get up close and personal as we learn about their individual journeys and discuss third spaces in Singapore.

[About the Guide]

Terence considers himself a ground-up historian, with a focus on non-institutionalized heritage on our little island. He spends time in spaces that are metaphorically dying, as their fates await impending urban redevelopment. Besides @oxley_stories, he has also taken curious groups on walks through Golden Mile and Peace Centre in their final days.
