Stranger Encounters presents: AFTER PARTY JAM (Dance & Mingle) with Sanat
Let's dance, flow, and mingle in a freestyle, spontaneous, improvised jam - carried by the grounding spirit of the Contact Improvisation session as our warm-up. Come vibe with fellow movers and Strangers in the space.
This jame is open to all. No need for prior experience in improvisation, contact, or any form. Sit, chill, or rave in repeat, in your own way. Together, let's celebrate the closing of STranger Encounters with vibrant energy!

About Stranger Encounters 2025: A one-day assembly of interactive creative experiences.
Community development is at the heart of Stranger Encounters.
Set in the historic art hub of Pearl’s Hill Terrace, this one-day gathering blends participatory theatre, immersive art, and shared experiences that spark social connection.
Arrive as strangers, and through a series of creative sessions — spanning movement, storytelling, dance, music, technology, and ritual — and leave having shared moments of curiosity, laughter, and trust.
What begins as an encounter becomes a community.
Each session is designed as a doorway into connection: with yourself, with others, and with the vibrant creative community that calls Pearl’s Hill Terrace home.
Stranger Encounters is hosted by Stranger Conversations, 195 Pearl's Hill Terrace 02-38D, a public living room that makes space for conversations that matter, and nurtures creative ideas. Be part of our community.

About the Artist
Sanat Mehta is a Movement and a Theatre practitioner, trained in Jazz, Ballet & Contemporary in his early training days, with a rich background in meditative and other mind-body practices inspired by Buddhist, Advaita-Vedanta (Non-Duality), Yogic, Javanese, and Taoist cultures. Currently embodying contemporary acting practices and traditional theatrical practices from across Asian regions in order to integrate the holistic understanding of a living body for artistic development. For over more than 8 years, Sanat has been developing and sharing across the education of Self-Transformation through Performing Arts. Using his expertise, Sanat aims to create inclusive spaces, foster body-mind connection & promote empathetic communication, decolonizing the minds & deconstructing the ‘self’ along the way.
