About this Event
Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is an offical Conservation Zone, a member of the English Woodland Scheme and hosts no less than 13 separate areas operated under the Natural England Entry and Higher Level Stewardship Schemes. It is home to 23 rare bird species and a wonderful range of flora and fauna.
Now, visitors have the oppotunity to share a magical time, usually only reserved for the team that care for this treasured location - they can be there when the ecology wakes.
Join us for this specially planned and curated Nature Walk as the Sun crests over a skyline barely changed since 1917 and as the Dawn Chorus resounds.
After a invigorating and pleasing spell in our wildlife areas, not usually accessible, you can repair to the 1917 Airmen's Mess Cafe for your choice of Breakfast and hot drinks.
