Experience the magic of Festive Floristry in a Luxury Craft Workshop setting. Handcraft your own unique Christmas wreath in the historic, Grade I listed St Thomas’ Church (see image) — a true community treasure since 1727 — and take home a special festive heirloom no shop can offer.

Beginners and experienced makers alike will enjoy a magical, hands-on experience led by Stourbridge’s beloved Greenhouse Florist, with clear demonstrations, one-to-one guidance, and beautifully curated seasonal florals.

Celebrating Local Heritage
Following last year’s much-loved workshops in Norton, we’re returning with something even more special: a festive celebration of local, modern, and ancient heritage.

Heritage Venue
This year’s workshop takes place in one of Stourbridge’s architectural treasures. Built in 1727 by public subscription, St Thomas’ Church (see image)has served as a community gathering place for almost 300 years. What better setting to continue the region’s tradition of creativity while handcrafting your own Christmas wreath?

Meet The Greenhouse Florist
Stevie Ann, an independent Stourbridge favourite for over 20 years, leads the workshop. Her clear demonstrations, one-to-one guidance, and beautifully curated seasonal florals help beginners feel instantly confident while giving experienced makers freedom to create something extraordinary.

What’s Included
All floristry materials are provided: pre-mossed wreaths, fresh plant materials, seasonal decorations, floristry scissors and wire, beautiful ribbons, and plenty of personal guidance. (Light gloves recommended for sensitive hands )

Built on a real moss base prepared in advance by Stevie Ann and her team, your design will stay fresh and vibrant throughout the season.

A Little Christmas History
Wreath-making began in European villages over four centuries ago. In the UK, the tradition was introduced by Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria. Today, we blend those historic customs which celebrate the everlasting cycle of Life with the Winter evergreens with modern craft, luxury materials and emphasis on sustainability in the heart of Stourbridge’s heritage.
