A New Day Begins!
Author MAYA MYERS and illustrator JENNIFER K. MANN are joining us for a storytime with their incredible, Kirkus-starred picture book:
Just before daybreak, a child steps outside with his cat to plant warm feet on the cool ground. They go into the forest.
Though it’s quiet, there’s so much to feel, to see and hear: lacy slug trails on the porch; spiderwebs in the grass; birdsong in the air.
The child breathes in the still-sleepy world, taking in every little detail. But when the sun’s warm rays arrive, it’s time to run and jump and cartwheel! GOOD MORNING, MORNING!
